How to access host OS files from guest OS via iso image.

Recently i have created a new virtual machine and installed OS from iso image into it. Then i needed some additional soft in my VM but i didn't want to dirty brand new clean installation with Guest Additions/VMWare tools or whatever else. I tried to find a solution on the Internet but all answers were concerned with installing additional virtual machine tools. The next logical step was to try connecting iso image as i did with OS. I've found several Windows tools that can create an iso from folder or file. I used IsoCreator to accomplish the task of putting folder into iso image. The only disadvantage of such approach is you need additional space: once for files and another for iso image but it lets you keep the guest OS clean.
